Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Fashion Design Intern – Technical Development at Ashi Studio in Paris. The intern will collaborate with the design team on various stages of the creative process, including assisting with fashion collection development, researching trends, creating technical sketches, and contributing to textile and material selection. Additional responsibilities include assisting with garment construction, supporting fittings, and ensuring designs align with project specifications and brand aesthetics.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Fashion Design and Fashion Styling
- Experience with Textiles and Sewing techniques
- Proficiency in Graphic Design tools and software
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for color, texture, and design
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting and work on tight deadlines
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field
- Prior internship or related experience in the fashion industry is a plus
- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of French is a plus
