Job Title: Apparel Designer – Asian Apparels USA
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid)
Reports to: Design Director

Position Overview: We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Designer to join our growing Minneapolis team, supporting key fortune 500 clients. This is a hands-on design role focused on menswear and kidswear. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across design, production, and product development to bring thoughtful, brand-right designs to life — from concept through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Design Director in seasonal concept creation, from trend research to final execution
Conduct market research and compile trend/development decks for client presentations
Sketch designs in Adobe Illustrator and build detailed tech packs for both internal and overseas partners
Create and update CADs for assortment presentations and line reviews
Collaborate with technical design and product development teams to ensure production-ready execution
Source and recommend fabrics and trims from overseas suppliers
Independently manage categories as assigned, meeting deadlines with accuracy and efficiency
Present seasonal concepts and design work to internal and external partners
Shop local retail markets for inspiration and competitive insight
Maintain a high level of organization, detail, and clear communication throughout the design process
Qualifications
3–5 years of professional design experience
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field
Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of fabric construction and garment development
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines
Confident presenter with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Experience working with overseas teams is a plus
A strong design portfolio is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
Location: Hybrid with time split between home and shared office space
