Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Designer role based in Lahore. The Fashion Designer will create original concepts and collections, from initial sketches through to final samples, aligning designs with brand direction and seasonal trends. Responsibilities include selecting textiles and trims, developing embroidery and surface design details, overseeing fittings, and collaborating with pattern makers and production teams to ensure accurate execution. The role involves researching market trends, preparing mood boards and technical packs, and working with merchandising and marketing to present collections. The Fashion Designer will also participate in quality checks, adjust designs based on feedback, and support timelines to meet production schedules.
Qualifications
- Strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills, including concept development, sketching, and collection planning.
- Experience working with Textiles, including fabric selection, drape, texture, and material performance.
- Proficiency in Embroidery and decorative techniques, with the ability to integrate embellishments into cohesive designs.
- Hands-on Fitting experience, including working with samples, adjusting patterns, and ensuring garments meet fit and comfort standards.
- Ability to use design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar CAD tools) for technical drawings and presentations.
- Strong visual communication skills, attention to detail, and an eye for color, silhouette, and proportion.
- Effective collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with production, merchandising, and sales teams.
- Prior experience in fashion design or garment development; a relevant degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field is beneficial.
- Knows how to communicate and share designs to Dying factories and is able to use relevant softwares to develop the designs.
