Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Fashion Designer Swimwear for Vince®, Robert Graham® and Buffalo David Bitton®, specializing in creating stylish, functional, and trend-setting swimwear for women and men. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of swim fashion by combining creative vision with technical expertise. Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and develop original swimwear designs for both women and men, aligning with current trends and brand identity
- Create detailed sketches and technical drawings using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and AI tools to communicate design ideas clearly
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from initial concept through sample development, fitting, and final production
- Collaborate with fabric suppliers, manufacturers, and merchandisers to ensure designs meet quality standards and production timelines
- Conduct garment construction assessments to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing while maintaining aesthetic appeal
- Stay updated on fashion retail trends, color theory, and market demands to keep collections fresh and relevant
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and AI tools for designing and presentation purposes
- Experience with product lifecycle management tools to oversee design-to-production processes
- Solid understanding of fashion design principles, garment construction, sewing techniques, and sewing machine operation
- Ability to interpret fashion retail trends into innovative swimwear designs that appeal to target audiences
- Skilled in fashion styling, illustration, graphic design and color theory to enhance visual storytelling
- Familiarity with merchandising strategies to align collections with market needs and consumer preferences
- Knowledge of theater or costume design can be an added advantage for creative inspiration
