As Tailor-Made Executive Search and Selection Consultancy, we are seeking a creative and visionary "Womenswear Designer" for the Istanbul office of our client, a leading global Sourcing Office.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Min. 5 years experience.
- Proven experience in womenswear (woven, jersey, or outerwear categories).
- Strong ability to follow global fashion trends and translate them into commercial collections.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal (to communicate with global offices and clients).
- Technical knowledge of fabric, accessories, and garment construction.
- Experience within a Sourcing Office environment is highly preferred.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Researching global trends and creating seasonal collections aligned with client expectations.
- Preparing comprehensive technical packs (Tech Packs) and managing the design process from initial sketch to final sample.
- Conducting fabric and accessory research to ensure the collection remains innovative and competitive.
- Delivering professional collection presentations to global teams and international customers.
- Collaborating closely with production and merchandising teams to ensure designs are feasible for mass production.
