We are searching for a creative and experienced Ethnic and Party wear Kids wear Designer with 2-3 years of relevant experience to join the team. The ideal candidate should be well versed to design fashionable and culturally inspired clothing for kids, with a focus on ethnic and partywear categories.Proficient with Adobe Illustrator & other computer-aided fashion design applications and digital visualization tools.Conceptualize and design seasonal collections of ethnic and partywear for kids, incorporating traditional elements with contemporary trends and styles.Knowledge of traditional textiles, embroideries, and embellishments used in ethnic and partywear design.Research global fashion trends, cultural influences, and festive occasions to inform design concepts and color palettes for ethnic and party wear collections.Create detailed sketches, tech packs, and specification sheets for each design, ensuring accuracy and clarity for the production team.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, merchandising, and marketing to ensure cohesive and commercially viable product assortments.Source and select fabrics, trims, embellishments, and accessories that align with the design vision and meet quality standards and budget requirements.Oversee sample development and fittings, providing feedback and revisions to achieve the desired fit, silhouette, and aesthetic for each garment.Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for innovation in the kids wear market.Maintain organized design files, archives, and records to track the development and evolution of ethnic and party wear collections over time.
