Cre8sArt School in Westwood, NJ is seeking a knowledgeable and creative Fashion Illustration Instructor to teach fashion drawing and figure illustration in a supportive, studio-based environment. This role is ideal for an artist who enjoys teaching figure proportion, movement, and garment illustration while helping students build confidence and technical skill.
You will work with students at various stages, from beginners learning fashion figure basics to more advanced students developing expressive poses and designs.
Responsibilities
- Teach fashion illustration focused on the 9-head figure proportion
- Instruct students on body structure, anatomy, posture, and movement
- Guide students in creating dynamic fashion poses
- Teach garment illustration, including draping, fabric flow, and design details
- Support students through individual projects while encouraging creativity
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and organized classroom environment
- Demonstrate proper drawing techniques and provide constructive feedback
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time
- $25-$30 per hour
- Approximately 3–6 hours per week
