Job Summary
The Fashion Inventory Analyst plays a crucial role in processing inventory within our upscale resale consignment store. This position involves researching, accurately pricing, and meticulously entering our collection of upscale clothing and accessories to support our increased intake of such as well as our ever growing consigner/customer base. The ideal candidate will know fashion brands, have an eye for detail, above all else exhibit accuracy in correctly categorizing and inputting items.
Duties
Categorize and rotate exisiting inventory in a manner consistent with our intake process
Maintain accurate assignement of items to their consigner
Identify unique characteristics of each item in a concise description of the item
Efficiently research and price each item within our inventory platform
List special circumstances that items might exhibit and effectivley document them
Prepare and relocate items to be prepped for display on the retail floor
Maintain adequate supplies at input stations to support the ongoing tasks at hand
Continually expand your knowledge of fashion and the trends that define it
Skills
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Adept in computer and Windows application usage, including web search, lookup, filter, and identification of items
Knowledge of upscale fashion brands and an appreciation of their place in the world
Strong research skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
Familiarity with current fashin trends, awareness of vintage qualities, and an eye for unique qualities in clothing and accessories.
Proficiency in utilizing a computerized inventory platform to capture details and price itmes within our system.
Ability to follow an established protocol in inventory management
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 25 per week
