THE ROLE

 

Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, the candidate will oversee all elements of shoot production for the brand, from pre-production to post-production, across Ecommerce, PR & Marketing. The role manages an in-house studio team and is responsible for the overall output of all creative assets for the business.

You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and the internal Art Director/Senior Photographer and you will take charge of all project management from start to finish, liaising with internal stakeholders.

The working environment may vary and you may spend a lot of time in the office or may be based in a studio or on location. Much of the work is in London, but location work can be anywhere in the country or abroad – flexibility is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, produce and deliver internal and consumer facing asset shoots for the brand across ecommerce, marketing, PR and wholesale, managing the critical path from inception to delivery across all stakeholders
  • Manage budget & timelines from inception to finished product/assets, manage all parties involved including negotiation and control with external agencies, producing best value shoots that fulfil the creative vision and optimise the opportunity
  • Location scouting and management with support as briefed by art director
  • Managing casting for all projects across Ecommerce and Marketing, tracking model usage and supporting the Art Director
  • Secure talent (along with travel requirements of external staff and ensure on-set attendance
  • Efficiently manage all set design and props under creative guidance of Art Director
  • Manage all photography and video production, booking photographers/videographers internally or externally as required
  • Coordinate with the Art Director on finalisation of efficient shoot plan
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal regulations, codes of practise and Health & Safety, risk assessments, permits etc
  • Oversee product sample sourcing and provision
  • Facilitate post-production retouching / editing process including production completion reports and initiating cost reconciliations and image/footage archiving
  • Managing all processes and approval process of the ThirdLight DAM system making sure edits are accessible
  • Hold regular meetings with the heads of departments to discuss projects and calendar, gathering asset requirements from all key stakeholders and timelines
  • Manage a team of 4; Stylist, Retouch Manager, Junior Retoucher and a Sample Coordinator

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Meticulous budget management and cost negotiations with financial savvy around production budgets, including travel and expenses
  • Experience in cross-media with experience of producing in locations
  • Solid understanding of marketing industries, processes and communication channels
  • Experience in contributing to the development and deployment of marketing strategic and operational initiatives and delivering multi-channel content
  • Organised, proactive, solution orientated and energetic multi-tasker able to use initiative whilst prioritising team and personal workload and can work well under pressure and time constraints
  • Stakeholder management across multiple teams and levels- can establish strong collaborate relationships quickly
  • Embraces and promotes new ways of working. Fosters a learning culture
  • Works well under remote management and can manage and partner with teams remotely whilst travelling
  • Able and willing to travel locally, within Europe and internationally at short notice as needed

QUALIFCIATIONS AND TRAINING

Requisite education and experience / minimum qualifications:

  •  4+ years’ experience in cross-media (print, digital and tv) shoot production
  •  2+ years’ experience production management / project management of team(s)
  •  Proven strong academics including a shoot production, marketing, business, art or related degree or equivalent experience
  •  Experience within fashion brands / fashion publication an advantage
  •  Proficient in Microsoft office (outlook, word, excel, PowerPoint), apple os and DAM platforms
  • Fluent (spoken and written) in English. Additional languages are an advantage.
