Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist customers with product demos, styling advice, and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Conduct product demos on social media platforms to showcase new arrivals or featured items, encouraging customer engagement and interest
- Manage merchandising efforts by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring the store remains visually appealing and inviting
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors over the phone
- Inventory processing including research, data entry, cleaning & detailing of preowned items & steaming of clothing leading to product placement on the sales floor
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience preferred
- An interest in participating in and with the creation of social media including Facebook, Instagram & TikTok.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations
- Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking, organizing displays, detailing of products, steaming of clothing, and managing inventory efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
- Basic math skills necessary for transactions and inventory management
- An enthusiasm for fashion resale is essential
