The Duckpin Consignment Shop is a high-end designer fashion resale boutique located just a few miles north of Towson in Timonium, Maryland.
We are actively seeking a Fashion Resale Inventory Processor to assist us with our daily activities.
The right candidate would demonstrate a high responsibility to maintain the quality and appearance of our products & store visuals, be able to offer strong customer service, organizational & typing & detailing skills, and share an interest in being a part of a small business with a great growth potential. FASHION RESALE INVENTORY PROCESSOR DUTIES INCLUDE :
– Taking part in store Opening & Closing procedures and maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment to enhance the shopping experience.
– Inspect incoming inventory for any stains or damages before the products are released for sales.
– Cleaning & detailing of incoming inventory including steaming of clothing, cleaning & detailing & stuffing of handbags, shoe cleaning, jewelry polishing.
– Data entry, research & pricing of new incoming inventory, monitoring inventory levels, replenishing merchandise on the sales floor.
– Conducting quality checks to ensure that products meet cleanliness and appearance standards before they are released for sale.
– Preparing incoming inventory for sales by labeling and displaying items as needed.
– Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of our product offerings and selecting merchandise that suits customers’ style preferences and fits their needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Previous retail, sales, cleaning and customer service experience preferred.
-Knowledge of fabrics and materials for selecting appropriate cleaning methods and products.
-Cleaning techniques such as stain removal, steam clothing, and dusting products.
-Strong sales acumen with the ability to drive sales and process to put out incoming inventory.
-Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
-Proven ability to work effectively with high responsibility in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with colleagues.
-Positive attitude to learn knowledge about inventory and detailing process towards incoming merchandise.
