Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Cashier, Customer Service Representative, and Buyer. This multifaceted position involves managing customer transactions, providing excellent service, and supporting procurement activities to ensure our inventory remains fresh and appealing. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, familiarity with ERP systems, and a passion for fashion retail.
Duties
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash, credit, and electronic payments efficiently
- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and creating a welcoming shopping experience
- Assist in sourcing new merchandise by evaluating supplier options, negotiating prices, and managing procurement processes
- Maintain inventory control through regular stock checks, data entry into ERP systems such as SAP or JD Edwards, and coordinating with logistics teams
- Support pricing strategies by analyzing market trends and adjusting merchandise prices accordingly
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to plan product displays that attract customers and maximize sales
- Manage contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality products while adhering to budget constraints
Experience
- Prior experience in retail cashiering or customer service roles is preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, SAP ERP, JD Edwards, Oracle EBS, or AS400 is highly advantageous
- Knowledge of materials management, procurement processes, supply chain management, inventory management, and logistics is desirable
- Strong negotiation skills for sourcing products and establishing vendor relationships
- Experience in e-commerce platforms or online merchandising is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
