Empowering CHANEL Fashion Boutiques to perform optimally, the fashion retail Sr. Manager coordinates the development of Fashion Retail activities in Mexico, creating a path for the global and regional fashion retail strategy that is tailored to the specificities of each Boutique´s local context.

The Fashion Retail Sr. Manager combines data analysis with feedback from sales teams to deploy a retail strategy that sets precise, targeted objectives reflecting deep local insight.

Supporting the boutiques in achieving these qualitative and quantitative objectives, the Fashion Retail Sr. Manager works closely with the Mexico fashion director (and its reports) and with the Boutique BOH and FOH teams to support the performance, optimize the efficiency of the teams and act as a key transformation agent.

Key ResponsibilitiesUphold the image of the brand

Install an uncompromising culture among Fashion teams towards upholding the image of the brand through VM, Merchandising, Boutique Maintenance and staff grooming based on the global standards.

Collaborate proactively and closely with the Visual Merchandising team to ensure that show windows and boutique displays consistently reflect CHANEL image and strategy.

Monitor if the Boutique managers and their teams always place a priority and an urgency on ensuring that the boutique environment is in an optimum condition, including the professional image of retail team members.

Uplift CHANEL Boutique operational excellence to ultimate level and proactively manage and follow up boutique risks.

In collaboration with the division, defines each Boutique positioning and strategy (One Boutique One Story)

Guarantees the compliance of all Boutiques in the network to the group and local procedures.

KPI Management

Prepare and propose the Fashion sales targets to the Fashion Director and management (CFO & CEO) in cooperation with Merchandising team and on monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.

Coordinate and oversees the new Boutiques Openings on the Mexican territory. Coordinates operational needs within the design and construction process; participate to each Boutique organization definition and recruitment; on boards boutique teams; manage all operational aspects of the pre-opening preparation.

Drives sales on a daily/weekly/monthly basis, while analyzing variance against sales target and then take proper actions in a timely manner.

Ensures client service excellence, CRM data and clienteling follow up.

Partners with Retail Operations Team, Marketing Team, and Merchandising Team to elevate commission schemes, recommend incentive schemes and maximize services and sales performance.

Properly Manager Merchandiser & Inventory

Works closely with the merchandising teams to ensure that each boutique stock is relevant to the profile of the boutique´s clientele. Implements and maintains the appropriate depth and width of merchandise in each boutique.

Promotes and frames the buying process at boutique level.
