Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. Looking for afternoon and Saturday hours. In this role, you will be responsible for sales, inventory restocking, and merchandise displays. Your expertise in merchandising, customer service, and retail operations will contribute significantly to creating an engaging shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control, including stocking shelves and organizing products.
- Collaborate with owner on displays and marketing.
- Utilize computer software that controls inventory, sales and client payouts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.
- Conduct regular cleaning and maintenance of merchandise displays to uphold store standards.
- Utilize a cash register system (taking in cash and giving change) and perform cashless sales through a card reader.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or merchandising environment is preferred but not necesary.
- Strong communication skills with the ability convey information to prospective clients.
- Knowledge of retail sales principles and retail math.
- Experience with inventory management, stock handling, and cashiering duties.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively while juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
