Full Job Description
Seeking candidates for the position of Sewing Instructor at Fashion Camp – Create. Design. Sew. Fashion Camp is a creative learning space that focuses on all things fashion & design. We cover fashion illustration, hand sewing, machine sewing, designing, creating and more. We host workshops, classes, camps, birthday parties, private parties, Girl Scout Troops and events. Our classes are available to people ages 7 – adult, however our primary market are kids ages 8-12.
Requirements:
Candidates must know how to machine sew.
A love for fashion.
Must love kids. Experience working with children is a plus.
Must be able to be conversational with tweens – you should know and be familiar with what’s popular musically, and what’s trending in this demographic. Must be outgoing and enthusiastic with a big personality!
Must be creative, flexible and able to think outside the box on the spot.
Retail and/or office experience is a plus.
Availability on weekends and school holidays is a MUST.
Availability to travel to off-site locations in and around Orange County.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 – $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
