Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and creative Fashion Styling & Influencer Marketing Intern to join our team.
This role focuses primarily on styling models for fashion photoshoots and supporting the brand’s influencer marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for fashion, understands current social media and influencer trends, and is comfortable communicating with creators and assisting on set.
You will work closely with the founder and marketing team to help develop visually compelling content, coordinate influencer collaborations, and strengthen the overall image and visibility of the brand.
This position is especially suitable for students or recent graduates in Fashion Styling, Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Communications, or related fields who want hands-on experience in both fashion production and influencer marketing.
Key Responsibilities Fashion Styling
- Style models for brand photoshoots, social media content, lookbooks, and product campaigns.
- Select and coordinate clothing, accessories, shoes, and props based on each shoot concept.
- Prepare complete looks before shoot days and ensure all styling items are organized and ready.
- Assist with model fittings and make on-set adjustments to ensure garments are presented properly.
- Help create mood boards and develop styling concepts that align with the brand’s aesthetic.
- Support basic hair and makeup styling when needed.
- Maintain and organize apparel samples, accessories, and styling materials.
- Assist with general studio and on-set operations during photoshoots.
Influencer Marketing
- Research and identify fashion, fitness, wellness, and lifestyle influencers who align with the brand.
- Conduct influencer outreach through email and social media.
- Coordinate product seeding, shipping information, content timelines, and collaboration details.
- Follow up with influencers regarding content creation and posting schedules.
- Track influencer communications, product deliveries, posted content, and campaign performance.
- Review influencer content to ensure proper brand tags, hashtags, and messaging are included.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with influencers and content creators.
- Monitor social media trends, competitor campaigns, and emerging creators.
- Support the development of influencer campaign ideas and creator briefs.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Styling, Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong sense of style and familiarity with current fashion and social media trends.
- Interest in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, and brand development.
- Comfortable communicating professionally with influencers and models.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple outreach conversations and follow-up tasks.
- Proactive, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to take creative direction while also contributing original ideas.
- Basic knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and short-form content is required.
- Experience with fashion styling, retail, social media, influencer outreach, or photoshoot production is a plus, but not required.
- Interest or experience in basic hair and makeup styling is a plus.
