Job Summary:
The stylist will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience to all customers. They will be responsible for styling hair and cutting hair, and selling products. They will also be responsible for opening and closing the store, and making sure the store is clean and organized.
Essential Duties:
Opening and closing the store
Ensures all duties are performed to company standards
Ensures all duties are performed in a safe manner
Ensures all duties are completed accurately
Ensures that the correct product is being sold to the customer
Selling products, including haircare, makeup, and other beauty products
Stylist will be required to sell 50-75% of their time. Stylists must have a minimum of 2-3 hours per week to sell products.
Stylist must be available to work Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-5pm. On Saturdays from 9am-4pm, stylist must be available to work between 8am-5pm. Closest availability is required on Saturdays. On Sundays, stylist must be available to work between 9am-4pm. On Sunday’s they are not open they are closed on Sunday’s.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the store by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and cleaning up the store daily.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Experience:
Experience in a retail setting selling products is required. Hair stylists must have at least 2 years of experience styling hair, shampooing hair, and cutting hair. Hair stylist must also be able to wash and cut up to 150 pounds of hair per day.
Experience in a beauty salon is preferred but not required. Hair stylist must be able to wash up to 100 pounds of products per day.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
