As a Fashion Stylist, you will be responsible for curating outfits, selecting clothing and accessories, and creating visually impactful looks for individuals, photo shoots, events, or fashion shows. Your primary objective is to ensure that your clients or projects achieve the desired aesthetic and convey the intended message through their attire.
Responsibilities:
Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their personal style preferences, body types, and wardrobe needs.
Styling Sessions: Conduct styling sessions where you present curated clothing and accessory options tailored to the client’s preferences and requirements.
Outfit Coordination: Select and coordinate outfits, including clothing, shoes, jewelry, and accessories, to create cohesive looks that align with the client’s style and the occasion’s theme.
Trend Analysis: Stay updated on the latest fashion trends, runway shows, and designer collections to incorporate fresh ideas and innovative styling techniques into your work.
Shopping: Source clothing, accessories, and props from various retailers, boutiques, and fashion houses to fulfill client requests and project needs.
Collaboration: Work closely with photographers, models, makeup artists, and hair stylists to coordinate overall looks for editorial shoots, fashion shows, or other creative projects.
Budget Management: Manage budgets effectively by sourcing cost-effective yet stylish clothing and accessories without compromising on quality or aesthetic appeal.
Brand Representation: Represent brands and designers by incorporating their clothing and accessories into your styling projects and promoting their products through various channels.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Fashion Stylist or similar role in the fashion industry.
In-depth knowledge of fashion trends, styles, and designers.
Strong understanding of body types, proportions, and garment fit.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Creativity, attention to detail, and a keen eye for aesthetics.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in using styling tools and techniques.
Degree or certification in Fashion Design, Styling, Merchandising, or a related field (preferred).
