Full Job Description
Looking for a tech designer freelancer to help with comments for womens clothing in our offices in Staten Island
Small, growing fashion company seeks experienced Women’s & children’s wear technical designer.
Must be incredibly detail oriented and organized, punctual, and willing to be flexible with time commitments.
Responsibilities- this job encompasses the handling of an entire technical design process for specific kids apparel programs, which includes:
Create and maintain spec sheet, fit evaluation comments and specs, tolerances, grading
Measuring fit samples and sending fit comments.
Attend fittings and taking detailed notes in the fitting as needed.
Must have technical understanding of body, fit, flat specs, fabric/trim stretch and have ability to lead fittings, taking detailed and accurate notes
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Job will start off part time from Staten Island office with potential for growth.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour

8 hour shift
