Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hong Kong for a Fashion & Accessories Buyer. The Buyer will be responsible for purchasing fashion and accessory products that align with market trends and brand identity. Daily tasks include managing supplier relationships, stock consolidation, coordinating with the sales and product development teams, tracking inventory levels, and analyzing sales data to make informed purchasing decisions. Collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives is also a core component of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills for building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Proven experience in purchasing and retail buying to support effective decision-making and financial performance.
- Knowledge of sales strategies and the ability to analyze sales trends for inventory and buying decisions.
- Familiarity with product development processes, including the ability to recognize emerging trends and source high-quality items.
- A background in fashion or retail is a plus, along with a strong eye for design and market understanding.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
