This role’s main responsibility is to accelerate and assure the right level of knowledge, skills and competencies in place at Store level, with a specific focus on Retail Training and Coaching. Training contents will get across the Brand’s history, selling techniques and tips, cross and up selling opportunities as well also selling rituals and ceremonies. The Retail Training Manager will be also accountable for ensuring the right level of skills and commitment to coaching at store level, supporting Store Manager and Merchandiser in developing and growing the overall sales staff capabilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensuring the delivery of the Induction programs for Clients Advisor either directly or through Store Managers.
- Supporting the Local Buyers in the delivery of the seasonal training and tracking the level of understanding of the Store Employees.
- Coach the Store Category Experts/Mangers in effectively training their teams (eg. Product, Trainings etc.,)
- Monitor the delivery and the effectiveness of the “retail” training path centrally identified.
- Design and deliver corrective actions (training and coaching related) and/or action plans connected with the Mystery Shopper results of their Countries or any other specific priorities.
Team
- As part of the Retail team, you will lead, develop and inspire the potential of store associates, ensuring a clear vision and understanding of Fendi’s overall strategy and your role in its success.
- Ensure Retail Trainer and Store Employees understand their role in each event/experience and ensure responsibilities and activities are properly allocated.
- Assess team member performance and support them in continuously improving and elevating their skills.
Profile
The position requires an individual who works well in changing environment, fast and dynamic.
- Minimum 10 years of retail experience. Fashion or luxury is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork, especially ability to communicate with retail teams.
- Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines, good at prioritization.
- Availability to periodically travel to visit markets in scope.
- Significant track record in running a successful Retail Training activation.
- A true team player who enjoys working in an environment which will stretch & expose them to working across multiple departments & teams.
- High energy individual who thrives working in a fast paced and evolving organization.
- Ability to influence others and move towards a common vision and/or goal.
- Fluent in English
