Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Film Director based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Film Director will oversee the creative and technical aspects of film projects, working closely with scriptwriters, producers, and production teams to bring stories to life. Responsibilities will include managing all stages of film production, from pre-production and script development to production and post-production. The ideal candidate will ensure the vision of the project is executed to the highest standard while collaborating with the team to meet creative goals and production deadlines. You will also be working with our affiliate production company Threefold Studios, a subsidiary of Network Collective a consortium Frontline Media Ltd is a part of.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Film Direction and leading creative visions for projects
- Proficiency in Scriptwriting and aligning scripts with visual storytelling
- Expertise in Film Production and Video Production processes
- Skills in overseeing Post-Production, including editing and finalising filmed content
- Ability to lead and collaborate with a diverse team of creatives and technicians
- Keen understanding of storytelling techniques, visual aesthetics, and cultural nuances
- Prior experience working within BAME/BIPOC or cultural media is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Cinematography, or a related field is preferred
