Overview:
AKIRA is looking for a part-time fit model(s) to assist our Technical Designer and buying team in checking the fit and visual appearance of our designs. The Fit Model is selected to work primarily on criteria matching the desired measurement specifications. Measurements listed below:
Small Size Fit Model
Measurements must be as close as possible to the required specifications:
Height = 5’6″ – 5’9″
Bust = 33-34″
Waist = 26-27″
Hip = 36-37″
Medium Size Fit Model
Measurements must be as close as possible to the required specifications:
Height = 5’6″ – 5’9″
Bust = 35-36″
Waist = 28-29″
Hip = 38-39″
Desired schedule:
Tuesday and Thursday for roughly 5 hours per day with the understanding that fitting times/days may vary at the needs of the business.
Responsibilities/Qualifications:
Flexible for work on an “as-needed basis”. This position is part-time and hours may vary per week
Provide feedback on garment fit, feel, and construction to the design team
Must be able to maintain fit model body measurements
Comfortable modeling in front of team members
Ability to stand throughout the duration of the fitting
Must be flexible and dependable
Must be available 2-3 times per week
