Tura’s corporate headquarters is based in Muncy, PA and its design studio and showroom are in the heart of New York City.
Under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, and reporting to the Warehouse Group Lead, the incumbent will handle orders while also being flexible to fill in for other roles or support different areas in the Order Processing line as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform replenishment tasks twice daily or as needed.
- Check emails consistently throughout the day.
- Manage Transfer Orders received via email.
- Pick and verify frames on all special Accounts.
- Create and apply labels.
- Label frame boxes, scan out orders, and post Bill of Lading (BOL).
- Handle Frame Dream Orders/Backorders.
- Update shipping methods, correcting invoices and reprinting invoices.
- Create and post BOLs accordingly.
- Learning the EDI process and completing tasks at required station.
- Assist Retail, monitor and support the Picking Line when needed.
- Support the Warehouse Group Leader as needed.
- Complete P.O.P. and assist on the line.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to read and write English
- Knowledge of basic math skills
- Ability to select, pack/stock, and inventory small merchandise.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle a multiple-task workload.
- Knowledge of computers, automated processes and BC.
- Ability to read fine print.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully working with others.
- Ability to meet attendance requirements
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent and the ability to read and write English
Physical Requirements: The work involves standing either on padded or concrete surfaces for prolonged periods of time. The incumbent regularly walks, bends, stoops, reaches, lifts and carries. Work involves lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. The average weight of an eye wear shipment is 3 pounds; however, a carton of eye wear cases can weigh approximately 50 pounds. Flexibility of movement is essential. Fine motor skills are required for selecting and packing frames.
Hours of Work: The hours of work are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Some overtime is required.
Pay: Starting rate is $15.00 per hour.
