**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and customer service, with a knack for promoting products and providing exceptional shopping experiences.
**Duties:**
– Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
– Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences
– Operate computers and handle transactions accurately
– Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
– Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities
– Provide information about products, pricing, and promotions
– Process returns and exchanges following company policies
– Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
**Requirements:**
– Proven experience in retail sales or a customer service-oriented role
– Proficiency working with computers and knowledge of Quickbooks
– Strong communication skills in English
– Knowledge of retail math principles for transactions
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
– Familiarity with flooring products such as tile, carpet, vinyl, etc is advantageous
– Previous experience in flooring sales is preferred
– Design knowledge is extremely helpful
