Job Summary
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Footwear Designer to join our ESO team. You will work on the design and development of a women’s footwear brand, supporting the Director with the design development each season. The ideal candidate will combine creativity with product knowledge to support the day-to-day design needs for the brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Concept: Support the Design Director on the daily design processes, creating Cads and researching inspiration.
- Technical Design & Specs: Develop detailed technical packages within our PLM system, which include CADs, construction details, materials, and color specifications for development and production.
- Prototyping & Development: Review prototypes and make necessary adjustments to ensure design and quality standards.
- Trend & Market Research: Conduct market research, shop domestically and internationally.
- Full-time in office hours
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of footwear design experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, or a related field.
- Software Proficiency: Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of footwear construction and materials.
- Communication: Excellent visual and verbal presentation skills.
- Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating creative design skills, sketching ability, and technical drawings.
Pay: $100,000.00 per year
