As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for creating stylish looks that meet clients’ needs and preferences, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
Utilize knowledge of color theory to provide expert advice on hair color choices and techniques.
Engage with clients to understand their desired looks and provide professional recommendations.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
Upsell products and services to enhance client satisfaction and promote retail sales.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, techniques, and products to provide clients with current options.
Build lasting relationships with clients through effective communication and outstanding customer service.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Proficiency in various hair cutting and coloring techniques.
Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and understand their needs effectively.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience in a salon or barbershop setting is preferred but not mandatory.
