We are looking for a dedicated person who is interested in hard but extremely rewarding work. Each day is completely different, with duties spanning from painting white coves, turning studios, managing and organising equipment, and most of all, making sure clients have a great stay at the studios. We like to approach the running of the studios as if they were a hotel, focusing on every detail in order to make sure clients leave happy and fulfilled. 

The calibre of the studio’s clientele is a mix of anything between small fashion shoots, corporate podcasts, all the way up to huge productions with worldwide brands and celebrities, we like to treat each production as though it’s our most important.

Role Description

This is a freelance role for a Studio Assistant at Tower Bridge Studios. The Studio Assistant will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day tasks related to photography, film, and TV production, and general studio maintenance. This includes providing support to clients, assisting with equipment, making sure studios are fully operational, assuring the studios and common areas are clean and tidy (there is a weekly cleaner also).

The role is an on-site position located in London E1 – We are specifically looking for Studio assistants who live close to the studios – Please only apply if you can get to or from the studios within 30 minutes. As some shifts may end quite late – Please only apply if you are comfortable travelling from the studios at night. Shifts Normally start at 8AM – Please only apply if you are confident you can get to the studios slightly before 8AM.

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work well in a team

Attention to detail and organisational skills

Knowledge of lighting, camera, and grip equipment is a huge plus

A drive to have a career in the entertainment / creative industry

Capability of moving heavy equipment
