THE FACTS
This is a CASH position until you have proven to be an asset to the salon. You will work closely with the owner to learn and assist. However your main job is run Front Desk & Social Media to bring guest to the salon. After building your skills to Level 1 you will remain hourly but add on commission pay for the hair you do. THE HARDER YOU WORK, THE MORE HOURS YOU RECEIVE! Eventually, over to full commission!
A cosmetologist is responsible for providing professional hair and beauty treatments to clients and maintaining relationships with customers. Successful cosmetologists are comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and must be able to build rapport with customers quickly in order to offer valuable advice and services.
*You must be LICENSED or 2 months from graduation when applying. Exception to this rule applies to a Braider.*
Qualifications
•Knowledge of computers and computer software
•Excellent customer service skills
Responsibilities
•Ability to answer phones of high call volume
•Checking in and out guest
•Responding to guest emails
•Booking guest appointments
•Communicating with owners and managers on a regular basis
Job Types: Part-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 25 per week
