We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Braider to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Braider, you will be responsible for providing exceptional braiding services to our clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional salon environment. Your creativity and attention to detail will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients’ beauty and confidence.
Responsibilities
Perform various hair braiding techniques, including but not limited to box braids, cornrows, and twists.
Maintain a clean and sanitized work area in accordance with salon standards.
Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to client needs and offering personalized recommendations.
Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling and client management.
Assist with front desk duties, including greeting clients and managing check-ins/outs.
Upsell additional services or products that complement the client’s chosen style.
Mentor junior staff members in braiding techniques and salon best practices as needed.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair braiding and styling to provide clients with innovative options.
Experience
Proven experience as a Hair Braider or in a similar role within the beauty industry is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Familiarity with salon software systems is an advantage.
Experience in store management or front desk operations is a plus.
Knowledge of makeup application techniques is beneficial but not mandatory.
Proficiency in using straight razors for hair styling is desirable but not required.
