We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our operations in Taiwan.
Job Summary:
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of retail operations in Taiwan, driving sales growth, managing team performance, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience across all locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, retail expertise, and a passion for fashion.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy:
Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales and profitability targets.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team to deliver on company objectives.
Foster a positive and engaging work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
Sales & Customer Experience:
Drive sales growth through effective merchandising, marketing initiatives, and customer engagement strategies.
Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Ensure exceptional customer service standards are upheld across all stores.
Operations Management:
Oversee daily retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store compliance.
Implement standard operating procedures to optimize efficiency and enhance the customer shopping experience.
Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to ensure targets are met.
Brand Development:
Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns and events.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, local community partners, and fashion influencers.
Stay abreast of market trends and competitive landscapes to drive innovation and brand positioning.
Talent Management:
Recruit, train, and develop store management and team members to maximize productivity and professional growth.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in retail management, preferably within the fashion sector, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of driving sales and managing high-volume retail operations.
Strong understanding of fashion trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape in Taiwan.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business performance.
Proficiency in Mandarin and English.
