The Department & TeamTommy Hilfiger Womenswear is part of Tommy Hilfiger label with high growth rate target in the next years to come. With the global business landscape, each continent is having its own growing pace and opportunities. The position of Director of Product Merchandising Womenswear, reporting to Sr Director Product Merchandising of Womenswear will be involved in collections and projects managements, including; Global collection management with high focus on European premium landscape North America licensee takeback and integration into global line Asia Pacific regions specific needs and reverse seasonality. Projects management of topics that related to Hilfiger Women overall merchandising evolutions

On the collection management areas, this position will be working closely with alongside Design, Product Development, North America market team, as well as existing Product & Market Merchandising team within the womenswear team. They will also need to connect with their peers (e.g. menswear) for best practice sharing and spot any potential sales opportunities cross divisionally.

On project management areas, this position will be exposed and be part of product strategy topics together with management and working along side of the Global Product Kitchen project management team within the brand.

Key Responsibilities

Understand women apparel products global consumers, sales, competitors and translate this into overall merchandising plan, actual collection to create business results that is profitable and yet brand enhancing according to overall label strategy and direction.

Manage several range planning contents with the ability to manage large amount of style options, while still being able to see things from bigger and holistic perspective, ensuring its connection, and gradually integrate collection extensions part into one global collection in the most effective, efficient and profitable for the business.

Extensions including e.g. North America integration, APAC regions needs, Reverse weather

Working on overall collection and ability to build multiple assortments that is visually aligned to brand and label strategy and yet meeting each sales needs for various regions and channels with core global assortment to still be intact.

To be active player in North America business integration and Global Product Kitchen initiative on behalf of TH Womenswear. Ability to contribute and project manage products and execution related topics of the integration.

Strong partnership with design and design leadership in evolving commercial needs and commercializing design big ideas and trends, creating compelling seamless collection that is relevant from design and commercially successful that fits to the brand direction.
