The opportunity

.As Global Head of Merchandising, you'll own the product story end to end — the assortment, the categories, the pricing, the planning, and the commercial outcomes — across every market we operate in. You'll decide what wins on the wall, what scales across countries, and what makes a Lenskart range feel both globally consistent and locally irresistible

.What you'll ow
- nGlobal assortment strategy. Define and own the product and range strategy across frames, sunglasses, lenses, contact lenses, and accessories — building a coherent global architecture that flexes for each market's customer, climate, and price reality
- .Category management & lifecycle. Lead category planning, range reviews, and the full product lifecycle — from introduction and ramp-up to refresh and exit — maximising freshness, relevance, and full-price sell-through
- .Buying, planning & inventory. Own merchandise financial planning, open-to-buy, allocation, and inventory health across markets — the right product, in the right store, in the right quantity, at the right time
- .Pricing, margin & commercial performance. Drive pricing architecture, promotions, and markdown strategy to grow revenue, protect margin, and hit commercial targets across the portfolio
- .Range localisation across markets. Partner with regional teams to tailor assortment and rollout for India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and beyond — global where it scales, local where it matters
- .Supplier & sourcing partnership. Work closely with Product, Design, and Supply Chain on sourcing, costing, and supplier relationships — driving cost efficiency without compromising quality or brand
- .Product & campaign launches. Own the merchandising plan for new product rollouts, brand campaigns, and festive and seasonal moments — and partner with Visual Merchandising and Marketing to bring them to life in-store and online
- .Data-led merchandising. Use sell-through, conversion, attach rate, and customer insight to sharpen every decision — turning analytics into assortment, pricing, and planning calls that move the business
- .Build the team. Lead, scale, and mentor a global merchandising organisation across central and regional teams — building the capability and processes to grow fast across markets
.What you brin
- gDeep merchandising expertise across assortment, category, buying, planning, and pricing in multi-store, multi-market retail
- .The rare blend of product instinct and commercial rigour — you have an eye for what sells and the numbers to back it
- .Proven success scaling merchandising across geographies, ideally including international or emerging markets
- .Strong financial fluency — OTB, margin, markdown, and inventory planning are second nature
- .Excellent cross-functional leadership — you align Product, Design, Supply Chain, Retail, VM, and Marketing around one plan
- .The energy and structure to build programs, processes, and teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
.Experienc
- eBachelor's or Master's in Merchandising, Retail Management, Business, Fashion, or a related field
- .15+ years in merchandising, category management, or buying and planning, with significant senior leadership experience
- .Experience owning merchandising for a large-format or multi-country retail network strongly preferred
- .Background in eyewear, fashion, lifestyle, or premium retail is a strong plus
