As a Global Retail Operations Intern, you will join our global Retail Excellence team and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, international environment. Based in our Madrid Head Office, our Retail Operations team is vital to supporting our global store network, ensuring seamless execution from comprehensive operating guidelines to essential assets like packaging and uniforms.

We focus on optimizing efficiency, enhancing tech tools, and perfecting back-of-house organization so our stores can consistently offer an exceptional journey to every client. Discover how your contributions can directly impact the luxury retail landscape!

Your role will be:

  • Store Handbook Maintenance: Be at the heart of maintaining our store operating procedures. You’ll coordinate updates, gather feedback, and collaborate across departments to create clear, user-friendly guidelines that empower our store teams. Your work will directly contribute to consistency and operational excellence across all regions..
  • Communication & Presentation Development: Coordinating internal communication across retail teams, developing presentations and supporting in organizing virtual gathering of the Global Retail Operations community.
  • Operations performance: Assisting in the implementation of a monitoring flow for store operations KPIs, You'll analyse data, identify trends, and work with regional teams to implement improvements that drive efficiency and reduce discrepancies.
  • Packaging & Assets: Monitoring stock levels of retail packaging, supporting the introduction of new store assets and participating in the special packaging campaign management ensuring timely distribution. Contributing to projects linked to enhancing the client experience and overall optimization.
  • Retail Operations Initiatives: Supporting the execution of retail operations initiatives and the rollout of new projects to increase efficiency across stores and back-of-house operations.

What is important for the role:

  • Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain or related fields.
  • Skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is essential.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, are needed.
  • Team player with a service-oriented mindset, with enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.
  • Self-Initiative and proactivity to solve collateral situations is a must.
  • Fluency in English required. Spanish and any other additional language highly valued.
  • Previous experience in retail and/or fashion environment is a plus.

Internship Requirements

  • To join our internship program, please ensure that you meet the following requirements:
  • You must currently be enrolled in a university or an accredited Business School and be eligible to sign an internship agreement through your institution.
  • If you are an EU citizen, you will need a valid student NIE (Foreigner Identification Number). If you are a non-EU citizen, a valid work permit is required.
  • The internship duration is between 6 and 12 months, with full-time availability preferred.

What we offer:

  • Working hours of Monday to Thursday of 9am – 615pm and Fridays 9am-2.45pm.
  • Study support to the value of €800-900 gross per month.
