Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services, ensuring client satisfaction through exceptional service and expertise. You will have the opportunity to showcase your skills in hair cutting, styling, and various grooming techniques while creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
Duties
Perform haircuts and styles using clippers, scissors, and straight razors to achieve desired looks.
Provide grooming services including beard trims, shaves, and hair threading.
Consult with clients on their desired hairstyles and provide recommendations based on individual preferences and hair types.
Apply color treatments using knowledge of color theory to enhance clients’ looks.
Upsell products and services to clients, ensuring they are informed about the best options for their hair care needs.
Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, managing client records, and maintaining a clean workspace.
Mentor junior barbers or apprentices by sharing techniques and best practices in barbering.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and grooming techniques to provide clients with contemporary services.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Barber with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficient in barbering techniques including straight razor shaving, hair extensions, and hair styling.
Knowledge of makeup application is a plus but not required.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Excellent communication skills for effective consultations and upselling of services.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A valid barbering license or certification is required.

Pay: $400.00 – $1,200.00 per week
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
