Thank you for your interest in working with Lunautics at Sol Fest 2024. We are hosting beauty bars as part of the festival experience and are looking for talented artists to help get everybody gLIT AF!
Sol Fest is happening 5/1-5/5 at the Vortex Spring in Ponce De Leon Florida
Let’s go over what we are looking for and see if this is the right fit for you! We are currently seeking candidates with the following qualities:
Fun and friendly. You will be interacting with hundreds of ravers, so being personable is a must!
Must have the ability to work independently & with a team.
Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure, ensuring that the customer’s vision is accurately achieved. Experience styling in a high volume, fashion-driven setting preferred.
Must be extremely creative in order to effectively communicate the company aesthetic.
This is an interactive role- customer service or retail experience is preferred.
Ideal candidates will be located in the Ponce De Leon, Florida area for the dates and times stated below. Candidates who are willing to travel and stay on site are preferred, camping accommodations are provided with this role.
*This position is specifically for hair artists only. We are looking for candidates who can complete braids with feed-in extensions and space buns. Samples of your work are required for further consideration. You must be available on site at the festival grounds for shifts on May 1nd – May 5th from the hours of 8:00am- 9:00pm. You will be scheduled for a 8-9 hour shift in this window.
As a freelance artist you are responsible for your transportation to and from the venue, and your prompt arrival and commitment to fulfilling the job responsibilities must be a priority. Entrance to the festival and staff camping accommodations to stay on site at the venue are included as a Lunautics team member.
This is a camping festival and staff are required to camp on site. You must provide your own camping gear and food for the weekend, but will have full access to the music festival and amenities onsite.
Perks and Compensation:
Compensation = $16.00 + DOE, an hour + any tips generated from customers
Legal Stuff
This will be a 1099, contracted freelance artist position. You will be paid by Lunautics for your hours reported within 72 hours of your last reported shift. Your hours will be reported directly by our onsite events manager.
This position is for our Sol Fest 2024 event activations only.
