We are seeking a talented and creative Hair Braider to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Braider, you will play a key role in enhancing our clients’ beauty experience while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Perform various braiding styles and techniques tailored to individual client preferences.
Consult with clients to understand their desired looks and provide professional advice on hair care and maintenance.
Sanitate tools and workstations regularly to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients.
Stay updated on current trends in hair braiding, styling, and color theory to offer innovative services.
Assist clients with hair extensions and other related services as needed.
Maintain accurate records of client appointments and preferences.
Promote additional services such as makeup application or eyelash extensions when appropriate.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store management operations, including inventory management and retail math practices.
Skills
Proficient in various hair braiding techniques with a keen eye for detail.
Strong understanding of color theory to enhance styling options for clients.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
Knowledge of hair extensions application methods is preferred.
Ability to sanitize tools and maintain hygiene standards in the workspace.
Familiarity with retail math concepts for managing product sales effectively.
Experience in barbering or related fields is a plus.
Skills in makeup application can enhance service offerings for clients.
Experience with eyelash extensions is an added advantage.

Pay: $50.00 – $200.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
