Responsibilities
Perform a variety of hair braiding styles, including but not limited to box braids, cornrows, and twists.
Consult with clients to understand their desired styles and provide professional recommendations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
Upsell hair care products and services to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair braiding and styling techniques.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
Assist clients with hair extensions as needed, ensuring proper application and care instructions.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
Skills
Proficient in various hair braiding techniques with an eye for detail.
Strong customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients.
Knowledge of cosmetology principles related to hair care and styling.
Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a focus on client needs.
Familiarity with retail math to assist in inventory management and sales tracking.
Experience in hair threading, barbering, or other related services is a plus.
