We are seeking a skilled and passionate Hair Braider to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional grooming services to clients while ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment. Your expertise in braiding and cosmetology will allow you to create tailored styles that meet the individual needs of each customer. You will play a vital role in enhancing the overall client experience through excellent customer service and professional recommendations.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of hair braiding, styling, and grooming services using braiding techniques.
Utilize hair products such as hair creams, combs, hot comb, and hot iron for straightening and detangling hair and ensuring client safety and satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized service.
Sanitate tools and work areas to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
Engage in upselling products and services that enhance the client’s grooming experience.
Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills.
Experience
Proven experience in braiding or cosmetology is preferred, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in managing product sales effectively.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to ensure clear understanding of client needs.
Knowledge of sanitation practices relevant to the beauty industry is essential.

Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
