Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Braider to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair braiding techniques and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that each client leaves feeling beautiful and satisfied. As a Hair Braider, you will be responsible for creating stunning braided hairstyles while providing exceptional customer service in a welcoming salon environment.
Responsibilities
Perform various hair braiding styles, including but not limited to box braids, cornrows, and twists.
Consult with clients to understand their desired styles and recommend appropriate options.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools.
Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair braiding and styling techniques.
Skills
Proficient in various hair styling techniques, including hair extensions and threading.
Familiarity with salon software for efficient appointment management.
Ability to use straight razors safely for any necessary touch-ups or styling.
Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs.
A background in cosmetology is preferred but not mandatory.
