Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Hair Braider to join our salon team. As a Hair Braider, you will be responsible for providing braiding and styling services to our clients. Your creativity and attention to detail will help our clients achieve their desired look and enhance their natural beauty. Duties: – Perform various braiding techniques such as box braids, cornrows, twists, and other intricate styles – Consult with clients to determine their desired hairstyle and provide recommendations based on their hair type and preferences – Cleanse, condition, and prep clients’ hair before braiding – Use professional tools and products to achieve high-quality results – Ensure client satisfaction by actively listening to their needs and addressing any concerns – Maintain a clean and organized work area – Keep up-to-date with the latest hair braiding trends and techniques – Provide exceptional customer service to all clients Skills: – Proficiency in hair braiding techniques, including box braids, cornrows, twists, etc. – Strong knowledge of hair care products and tools used in the braiding process – Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients – Attention to detail and ability to create precise and neat braids – Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments and managing client information – Experience in retail sales of hair care products is a plus – Basic knowledge of cosmetology principles and practices – Familiarity with makeup application techniques is an advantage – Ability to mentor junior stylists or apprentices in hair braiding techniques Join our team of talented stylists and showcase your skills as a Hair Braider.
