Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Hair Braider to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Braider, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hair braiding services to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling beautiful and satisfied. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced salon environment.
Responsibilities
Perform various hair braiding techniques, including but not limited to box braids, cornrows, and twists.
Consult with clients to understand their desired styles and provide expert recommendations.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation to ensure a pleasant experience for clients.
Assist with retail sales by promoting hair care products and upselling additional services.
Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and handling client inquiries.
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment management and client records.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth salon operations and excellent customer service.
Skills
Proficiency in various hair braiding techniques with a strong understanding of color theory.
Experience in retail sales and upselling products or services to enhance client satisfaction.
Familiarity with salon software, particularly MINDBODY, for efficient appointment scheduling.
Knowledge of eyelash extensions and nail care is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and understand their needs.
Ability to manage front desk responsibilities while providing exceptional service.

Pay: $50.00 – $105.00 per day
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
