Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Braider to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional braiding skills and a strong understanding of hair care techniques. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent customer service while ensuring client satisfaction. As a Hair Braider, you will be responsible for creating beautiful braided styles while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Hourly or commissioned based. Most be able to work a minimum of 30hrs a week.
Duties
Perform various braiding techniques, including but not limited to Knotless, BoHo, box braids, cornrows, and twists.
Build and maintain client base by providing exceptional client services and maintain accurate records of each session
Sanitate all tools and workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Stay updated on current hair styling trends and techniques to provide clients with the latest styles.
Apply knowledge of color theory when discussing potential color treatments with clients.
Engage in retail math to effectively manage product sales and inventory within the salon.
Requirements
Proven experience in hair braiding; cosmetology certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong understanding of sanitation practices in a salon environment.
Knowledge of hair styling techniques and trends is essential.
Ability to perform eyelash extensions is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards clients.
A passion for the beauty industry with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Pay: $18.00 – $30.00 per hour
