Job Description
Luxe Beauty Bar is seeking a skilled and experienced Hair Braider to join our growing salon team in Mattapan, MA. We are looking for a professional braider who is confident in executing a variety of styles and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced salon environment. This position is for experienced braiders only — no beginners.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional braiding services to clients
- Consult with clients to understand desired styles
- Execute neat, consistent, and timely braiding techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Contribute to a positive team environment
Required Skills & Experience
- Prior salon experience REQUIRED (no beginners)
- Must be proficient in multiple styles including:
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy salon setting
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Professionalism and reliability
Compensation
This is a commission-based position
. Braiders receive 50% commission on each service performed
, providing strong earning potential based on productivity.
All tips are kept in full by the braider.
