We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Braider to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various hair styling techniques, particularly braiding, and will be committed to providing exceptional service to our clients. As a Hair Braider, you will play a key role in enhancing the beauty and confidence of our customers while contributing to a positive salon environment.
Duties
Perform various braiding styles and techniques tailored to client preferences.
Provide additional hair services such as hair threading, styling, and makeup application as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and products are sanitized.
Assist with front desk operations including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
Upsell salon products and services to enhance client experience and satisfaction.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless flow of service within the salon.
Stay updated on current trends in hair braiding and styling techniques.
Qualifications
Proven experience in hair braiding and styling; barbering skills are a plus.
Familiarity with MINDBODY or similar scheduling software is preferred.
Knowledge of color theory and hair care products is beneficial.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Experience in store management or front desk operations is advantageous.
Ability to perform straight razor techniques safely and effectively.
