The duties and responsibilities of a hair care specialist encompass many aspects, including customer service, technical expertise, and
product knowledge
. The general duties include:
Welcoming customers and ensuring they’re comfortable.
Keeping
up-to-date
knowledge of different types of hair treatments (such as Argan, Keratin, Rebonding).
Advising clients on suitable treatments.
Washing, conditioning, and applying treatments.
Cleaning workstations and sanitising equipment throughout the day.
Maintaining an adequate inventory of hair products and tools.
