Job Responsibilities:
Mixing color solutions from premixed formulas or customizing solutions based on client preference Applying color to hair using techniques such as highlights, lowlights, ombre, balayage, bronde, or babylights Performing corrective color services such as removing unwanted color from hair With a bleaching agent or applying color to previously colored hair to refresh the color
Job Requirements:
Preparing clients for services such as shampooing hair, massaging the scalp, and applying product to hair Consulting with clients about their desired hair style and recommending appropriate products and procedures to achieve the desired results Mixing custom solutions of colorants or dyes using an electronic device such as a computer or hand-held machine Checking the color of hair after it has been chemically processed to make sure it matches the desired shade Conducting strand tests to determine how different types of hair will react to various coloring methods Recommending maintenance procedures such as brushing, shampooing, and conditioning to prevent fading of color over time #J-18808-Ljbffr
