Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills in various hair techniques, including hair extensions, barbering, and makeup application.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services.
Mentor junior stylists and assist with their professional development as needed.
Perform hair threading and other specialized techniques as requested by clients.
Manage front desk operations including scheduling appointments and handling retail transactions.
Utilize retail math skills to assist clients in selecting hair care products that suit their needs.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling and beauty techniques to provide informed recommendations.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology license is required.
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role with a strong portfolio of work.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Experience in mentoring or training junior staff is a plus.
Knowledge of hair extensions, barbering techniques, hair threading, and makeup application is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
