Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair styling techniques, color theory, and hair cutting. As a Hair Stylist, you will provide exceptional service to clients while utilizing your creativity and expertise to enhance their beauty. This is a booth renter position. Your hours and income will be yours to choose as an independent contractor. We are in a prime downtown Morehead location and like to have lots of fun while we work. We are team players who strive to see everyone successful and happy!
Duties
Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client management, and record-keeping.
Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results in hair coloring.
Assist clients with hair extensions and other specialized services as needed.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and offer personalized recommendations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon environment.
Participate in retail sales by promoting products that enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques through ongoing education.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in hair styling techniques, color theory, and hair cutting skills.
Familiarity with salon software for effective client management.
Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
A valid cosmetology license is required.
