Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Hair Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cosmetology and hair replacement ,performing various hair extension methods and techniques, on all races of people, knowledge in the various hair types to know how to select and buy what is needed for a perfect hair replacement with the skills to execute top notch work along with a flair for providing exceptional hair care services. This role involves not only performing hair treatments but also engaging with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring they leave feeling satisfied and confident. The Hair Specialist will also play a vital role in promoting salon products and services, contributing to the overall success of our establishment.
Responsibilities
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in the work area.
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Engage in upselling salon products and services to enhance client experience.
Mentor junior staff members, sharing expertise and best practices in hair care.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, extensions, and nail care techniques.
Assist clients with product selection based on their individual needs and preferences.
Ensure all tools and equipment are sanitized according to industry standards.
Experience
Proven experience as a Hair Specialist or similar role within a hair restoration clinic or a hair replacement salon environment.
Valid cosmetology license is required; additional certifications in barbering is a plus.
Familiarity with retail math to assist clients effectively with product purchases.
Experience with hair extensions application techniques is preferred.
Proficiency in using salon software for appointment management is advantageous.
Strong communication skills with an ability to build rapport with clients.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $100.00 – $300.00 per hour
